Build your Ideal Customer Profile from scratch.
14 steps. 10 actionable outputs. The most comprehensive ICP builder on the internet — for free.
No AI guesswork. Just your own answers, organized.
I built this the way I'd actually build an ICP for a client: 14 steps across four phases. Foundation (what you sell and who's already buying it), Firmographics (company size, industry, geography), Demand (pain points, competitors, channels), and Intelligence + Qualification (buying signals, timing, tech stack, and what to explicitly exclude). Every output is assembled directly from what you type in — your personas step becomes the Persona Profile, your competitor list becomes the Competitive Matrix, your weighting choices become the Lead Scoring Rubric. There's no separate AI pass inventing details you'd have to fact-check afterward.
The Clarity Score at the top of your results isn't a magic number either — it's counting how much of the 14 steps you've filled in with real specifics versus left blank or vague. A team still targeting "any company that needs software" will score low, and that's the point: the lower the score, the broader — and less useful for outbound — your targeting still is. I see this constantly running audits: teams with decent product-market fit still burn budget on outbound because their ICP is too broad to write a sharp cold email or score a lead correctly.
The 9 gated outputs — TAM calculator, objection scripts, email templates, red flag detector and the rest — are derived math and templating on top of your own inputs, not a model generating new claims. I'd rather give you a structured way to turn what you already know into something usable than have an AI invent personas and pain points for you.
Questions people ask
How is the ICP Clarity Score calculated?
It's a completeness score, not a quality judgment. Each of the 14 steps -- product definition, best customers, revenue analysis, firmographics, personas, buying committee, pain points, competitors, channels, buying signals, timing, tech stack, exclusion criteria, and your weighting choices -- contributes points when you fill it in with real detail. A blank or vague field earns little to nothing. So the score tells you how complete and specific your profile is, not whether your product actually fits that market. That part is still on you to validate with real deals.
Is my data saved anywhere?
Everything you type into the 14 steps stays in your browser for that session only -- refresh the page and it's gone, nothing is stored on a server. If you unlock the 9 extra outputs by entering your email, that email address, the tool name, and the page URL get sent to my inbox via Formspree so I can follow up. Your actual answers (personas, pain points, competitors, weighting) never leave your browser -- I'm not running a database behind this tool.
How accurate is the ICP this generates?
As accurate as what you put into it. This isn't AI guessing your ideal customer -- it's a structured way to turn what you already know (or think you know) about your best customers into something you can act on for outbound targeting, lead scoring, and objection handling. If you haven't done a proper win-loss review of your existing customers yet, the Best Customers and Revenue Analysis steps will force you to think it through -- do that honestly and the rest of the output gets a lot sharper.
